I’ve become obsessed with quantum mechanics/particle physics/astrophysics for the past month. Videos of Brian Green (in the video above), Neil deGrasse Tyson, Richard Feynman, and Brian Cox have been on constant playback on my computer. This whole fascination has distracted me a bit from all the stuff I need to get done, but I don’t care because I love thinking about this stuff.

In the video above, Greene argues that our current methods of teaching science and math are inept and lifeless. He goes to to say that if we make connections between the concepts taught in school to concepts beyond our imagination then it “comes to life.”
